We've all heard of someone like this: Guy dates girl. Guy is obsessed with girl and gets a tattoo of her name on his body. A week later, girl breaks up with guy.
OK, so maybe not all of us have experienced something like that but LaDainian Tomlinson is setting himself up for a similar situation.
Tomlinson, a nine-year member of the Chargers, has a tattoo of a lightning bolt on his calf. He's been in San Diego his entire career and most will always associate him with the Chargers so that's no big deal. Since being released by the Bolts, he signed with the Jets.
And of course he got a Jets tattoo on the other calf.
A bit soon, maybe?
If things don't go well in New York, Tomlinson may be facing this.

Why to soon?
You do realize that a tattoo is a form of expression and can symbolize lifes journey right? I mean comparing it to “some” girl is grossly inaccurate. First, how many NFL teams do you think LT will play for? Second, it’s a time in his life that obviously means a lot for him. Third, LT doesnt strike me as a Rodman/Artest type of guy, who shoots from the hip and doesnt think things through. So regardless of what happens in New York, I’m sure it’s not going to be an experience this guy will regret.
