Mark DeRosa's latest setback seemed to be enough to push him to another surgery, but, says Henry Schulman, we're not quite there yet:
Lest anyone think that Mark DeRosa's return to San Francisco for another medical evaluation was just a pit stop toward the operating room, I've been told that for now he and the team have decided to hold off on surgery pending further tests.
The odds, of course, remain that DeRosa will need an operation to fix his wrist, but he and the team refuse to give up hope.
