What Did Marco Scutaro Ever Do To Deserve A Phil Collins Tribute?

Shortstop Marco Scutaro joined the Red Sox in the offseason as part of general manager Theo Epstein's strategy to further shore up the team's defense. Unless you're Ozzie Smith, a shortshop who gets by primarily with his defense is probably not going to develop a huge fan following. But Scutaro has performed admirably filling in at the leadoff spot while Jacoby Ellsbury has been hobbled with a rib injury. Also, his name kind of syncs with the hook on Phil Collins' "Sussudio" so someone figured, what the hey, let's just make a tribute version of the song for Marco Scutaro.

In the extensive annals of fan tribute songs for players, that has to be one of the more random inspirations, but you certainly can't fault it for its production values. Beyond being frighteningly infectious, one must hope a Red Sox fan does not develop an American Psycho-like devotion to the song.
