- Evgeni Nabokov is gone, and it appears the San Jose Sharks have found their answer to replace him. Antero Niittymaki has signed a two year, $4 million contract according to a number of sources. It'll be interesting to see how the fans over at Fear The Fin react to the news.
- The Montreal Canadiens have found their backup goalie today as well. Alex Auld signed with the Habs, a one-year deal worth $1 million. Various sources have reported the news.
- Colby Armstrong just got paid. He heads to the Toronto Maple Leafs for three years, $9 million. Most teams in the running for him probably couldn't have afforded that.
- Old defenseman Sean O'Donnell signed with the Flyers for one-year. He's a very solid sixth d'man in Philadelphia, who really solidified their blueline today.
