Anthony Morrow Headed To Nets After Sign-And-Trade With Warriors
After signing Warriors swingman Anthony Morrow to an offer sheet last week, the Nets and Warriors have come to terms on a sign-and-trade deal that will send Morrow to the Nets in return for a $4 million trade exception, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 6-foot-5 Morrow is an exceptional three-point shooter, connecting on 46% of his treys in his two-year career, and figures to compete with Terrence Williams, Courtney Lee and Travis Outlaw for minutes between the two and three spots for New Jersey. The 25-year old Morrow signed a three-year $12 million deal with the Nets, and in return the Warriors will receive a $4 million trade exception they can use to facilitate trades where the salaries do not match.
