Dunga Will Not Return As Brazil's Head Coach
After Friday morning's 2-1 quarterfinal loss to the Netherlands, there is little chance of Brazil extending Dunga's contract to remain at the helm of the Selecao.
From Sky Sports:
In Dunga's four years as coach, Brazil won the 2007 Copa America, the 2009 Confederations Cup (beating the US in the final), and finished World Cup Qualifying as the best team in South America. The former Brazilian midfielder, replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira, after Brazil's quarterfinal exit in the 2006 World Cup.
There was little chance of Dunga remaining the team's coach regardless of Brazil's success in South Africa. His style of coaching and departure from the "Joga Bonito" style of play Brazilians are known for had long been criticized in a country where winning with style is more important than winning itself.
