Super Bowl hero David Tyree will sign a one day contract with the New York Giants so that he may retire as a member of the team that made him a legend. Tyree, as I'm sure you remember, was the unheralded receiver who caught the third down pass against his helment to keep the game winning drive alive.
After that championship victory, he suffered a season-ending injury before being signed by the Baltimore Ravens as a special-teams specialist in 2009. Unsigned coming into 2010, this move allows Tyree to retire as a member of the Giants, forever becoming a key piece of the team's history.
Relive the moment one more time, it never gets old...
