Michael Vick is still dealing with the fallout of the shooting that occurred at his birthday party at a Virginia Beach club late last month. While the Eagles are presently denying a report that the team is planning to cut Vick regardless of what comes out of the police investigation, it's likely that they don't want to see Vick broadcast his forays into club party hosting so publicly.
While no one has accused Vick of having the world's best judgment, perhaps someone could have convinced him that putting an "All-White" party he's hosting in D.C. on July 4 on blast isn't the best move at the moment. The club, The Park At Fourteenth, is claiming Vick is hosting the party with celebrity friends. And as Black Sports Online points out, it's an arrangement much like his birthday party - where pretty much anyone can attend so long as they send an e-mail to get on the RSVP list.
It's likely that this was scheduled far in advance and that Vick has no intention of attending said event. A call made to the club was not returned.
