Report: Chris Duhon Signs Four-Year Contract With Magic

With Jason Williams unlikely to return, the Orlando Magic have been in the market for a backup point guard. It looks like they've ultimately decided former Knick Chris Duhon is their man.

ESPN's Chad Ford is reporting the Magic have agreed to terms on a four-year, $15 million contract with Duhon, who averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 assists with the Knicks last season. This is slightly less than what fellow point guard Steve Blake received to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers

The Magic had several point guards on their radar, but in Duhon, they're getting one who is more experienced than most. The price is a little high for my taste, especially for a team that's already paying a hefty luxury-tax bill, but this was definitely an area of need.
