Couldn't LeBron's Alleged Dad Have Waited Just One More Day?

According to TMZ, a 55-year-old man named Leicester Bryce Stovell has filed suit against Gloria and LeBron James claiming that he has long tried to prove he's LeBron's biological father, but has been repeatedly and nefariously prevented from discovering the truth on many an occasion.

The lawsuit is explosive -- in it, 55-year-old Leicester Bryce Stovell claims he met Gloria in a D.C. area bar in 1984 ... and had unprotected sex with her on the night they met. He later found out she was 15-years-old at the time ... he was 29.

According to the docs -- filed recently in federal court -- Gloria has spent the rest of her life shielding LeBron from the truth.

Far be it from us to rule on the validity of said case, however suspect the timing of the filing.

All we can say is why couldn't it have been EVEN MORE SUSPECT!? Seriously, Leicester, couldn't this been even more impactful (not to mention entertaining) at, say, 9 p.m. on Thursday? Perhaps on the set of a television studio in Bristol? Sure, the particulars would have difficult to negotiate, but we have faith in you. Unless of course this is only the start of a Mamma Mia-like cavalcade of purported LeBron daddies, each more shocking than the last, in which case, carry on.
