The New York Jets debut on HBO's Hard Knocks is receiving all kinds of reviews.
Some people are saying Rex Ryan's gratuitous language is offensive.
"I apologize if I offended more people than I usually offend," Ryan said.
Some players are now wishing they played for Ryan.
Fact: After watching Hard Knocks last night, players are texting their agents this morning that they want to go play for Rex Ryan.
SB Nation's Gang Green Nation covered Ryan's press conference on Thursday and summed up his reaction to the debut episode.
He thought Hard Knocks was entertaining. He says there are so many stories to tell in Jets camp and you want the country to see that. People see the good environment the Jets play in and shows they don't take themselves too seriously, but when it's time to play they're bringing everything.
Some people think Ryan's bravado is unnecessary because the Jets haven't even won a Super Bowl. When ESPN's training camp bus visited the Jets, Ryan signed the bus, "Soon to be champs!"
His players, however, seem to gravitate towards him, as Gang Green Nation notes in their recap of the Hard Knocks debut episode.
Rex has everybody cracking up by wearing a pair of black old school Converse hightops to practice. It's a superstition he does every year. He says the one year he missed in Arizona, the team was horrible. The team really views him as one of the guys. Bart Scott says he would take Rex in a dark alley over NFL tough guys.
Check out Gang Green Nation for the full review of the Jets on Hard Knocks. SB Nation's Andrew Sharp also recaps a Hard Knocks video of Ryan telling his team their goal is to lead the league in wins.

The second block quote in the article say:
Can you back that up in any way? Who said it? Just because you block quote something, it does not mean that its contents are necessarily facts

Too bad Revis not allowing access
I am a little disappointed that Darrelle Revis isn’t allowing HBO access. It would have been nice to get some insight from him on his holdout.

Ryan seems exactly like he does in the KSK articles.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
