I was concerned that the approaching cold front would slow going into the weekend and that appears to be the case. This slow down has now pushed the threat of showers and storms into Sunday. It appears the cold front will move through most of Michigan by Saturday night but it slows and almost stall in southeastern Michigan Sunday. Shower and storms will remain a threat through Sunday midday and possibly afternoon. There is also a concern that some of these storms could be strong to severe.
I don't have an specific timing on these showers and storms. A lot of these storms will be scattered in nature but we will see some rain at some point on Sunday. The latest data keeps rain and storms around even into the early afternoon around 2pm.
