Giants, Royals Fans Have Opposite Reactions To Jose Guillen Trade

Oftentimes, when two teams make a trade, the trade is sufficiently close to being even that fans of both sides come away excited about the move. This Jose Guillen trade, though - the reaction's a little one-sided.

First, a sample of responses from Royals Review:

I can't believe we got somthing for him Thanks sucker…I mean Sabean
I've long dreamed of this day
If this isn't the best feeling since the 2003 Illusion, I don’t know what is.

Conversely, from McCovey Chronicles:

why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why

WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO US CRUEL FATES
With new arrival Jose Guillen, the Giants seem to employ a lot of DHs for a team in the National League.

It’s just so pointless.

The Giants will hope that Guillen can get the same boost that Pat Burrell's enjoyed, but on paper, this doesn't seem to be much of an addition, if it's an addition at all.
