The start of the college football season is less than two weeks away, but rosters are far from locked, and that doesn't always have to do with position battles:
Now, "personal reasons" could denote illness, a death in the family, retaking a test, all manner of obstacles. But Weslye Saunders has already been in the news once this summer, as one of the apparent focal points of an NCAA investigation into improper agent contact at a number of southerly and easterly universities. So I'm not saying, I'm just saying: There could very obviously be more to this than we're seeing at the moment.
Then again, where's the fun in sourcing these things if you don't have to?
Relax, everybody. We've got Doddweight over here to keep this story on an even keel.
