The Minnesota Vikings wrapped up the Brett Favre retirement watch last week. This week they're planning on pairing him up with one of his former teammates.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Vikings are planning on signing WR Javon Walker.

Walker played with in Green Bay from 2002-2005.

Walker's most productive season in the NFL came in 2004 with Favre when he caught 89 passes for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns. Since that season, he's had just one season over 300 receiving yards.

Walker last played with the Raiders. He was released in March. He worked out for the Vikings last week.

There's no word on what kind of money Walker is getting but we can assure it won't be anywhere near the six-year, $55 million deal the Raiders gave him in 2008.
