Anyone familiar with the "Win Forever" formula knows that it does not allow for complacency. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll will not let his players to be lulled into a place sense of security. That or he simply wanted to have a cheap laugh at their expense. Truth be told, I didn't read his book.
Nevertheless, the latter effect is achieved, as Carroll recorded the reaction several of his players to his finding plastic snakes that he placed in their Gatorade cooler. Oh, Pete Carroll, you irrepressible scamp! Not willing to let that comedy stand on its own, he decided to splice in clips from snake-related pop culture touchstones, like The Simpsons Whacking Day episode and the movie Snakes On A Plane. I'm sure his game time will be tops in the league in TV references.

Props to the bro whose first instinct was to grab it by the head. Indiana Jones salutes you, sir.
