Rams' Donnie Avery Has Torn ACL, Will Miss 2010 Season

The Rams' worst fears came true Friday evening: wide receiver Donnie Avery has a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2010 season.

He will delay surgery (likely waiting for the swelling to go down).

Avery, a second round pick by St. Louis in 2008, was carted off the field during Thursday nights preseason game with the Patriots. At the time, it was described as a "significant knee injury."
