Stephen Strasburg may soon be out of the limelight for awhile as the approaches a long recovery from elbow surgery. There is another phenom who looks ready to take baseball by storm.
Reds lefthander Aroldis Chapman was clocked at 105 miles per hour tonight in the ninth inning of a Triple AAA game while striking all three batters he faced.
Scout: "best fastball I have ever witnessed"
If that wasn't impressive enough, Chapman's slider was consistently 90-91. It seems to be a matter of time before he's taking center stage as the newest fireballer to captivate baseball fans.
