The old teams are gone. Time to move forward.

Really, nostalgia is good up to a point.

If they agree to only sign former Jets and Nordiques for the first four years, I’ll allow it.

Do the franchises have rights over old names? Like, do the Avs have the rights to a Nordiques franchise or anything?

Yeah, I don’t like the old names. The Nordiques are the Avalanche and the Jets are the Coyotes.

Listen, if the Ottawa Senators can come back, the Winnipeg Jets can come back.

I’m fine with bringing the old names back. They should bring the logos back and everything. Especially the Jets. That was a great logo.

I would’ve gone for “Winnipeg Starship,” personally.

This was a fun exercise before it turned into a I-don’t-like-that-my-team-left protest vote.

You had to know it was going there tho. Fifty, seventy, oh eternity years from now, it will still be that way.

Jets and Nordiques are nice, but nostalgia is only good to an extent.

Try something new for once, people. Spice it up!
