The Redskins on Tuesday announced that receiver Malcolm Kelly is headed to injured reserve ending his 2010 season before it even started. There was speculation that he could be released.
This means that by the Redskins now only have to make four cuts Tuesday afternoon to get down to the maximum 75 players. Kelly doesn't count against the roster now that he's on IR.
The Washington Post reports that Tuesday morning "Just about every player was present during the portion of practice that's open to the media."
The deadline for roster cuts comes at 4:00 p.m.
