Roger Huerta Involved In Bloody Austin Street Fight

TMZ has video of what appears to be a massive street brawl in front of a bar in Austin. One of the participants just happened to be Ex-UFC star Roger Huerta, who has since continued his career with Bellator.

27-year-old Huerta -- who was once featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated -- was in front of a bar in Austin around 2 AM on Saturday morning ... when some other people began fighting. Roger was near the scuffle ... when he saw one of the men involved punch a female who was standing near the ruckus.

Once Huerta sees the woman collapse to the ground -- he instantly tries to confront the attacker saying, "You just punched a f**kin' girl."

Right around here is where it gets interesting. Huerta takes his shirt off, throws his hat, and bum rushes the guy. A friend of Huerta's is seen screaming at him, finally running over to intervene. There is a brief moment of panic as people flood into the area to try to break it up, unfortunately blocking the camera. Although most of the fight isn't captured, there is a VERY clear shot of Huerta dolling out some vicious head stomps. A crowd ascends on the profusely bleeding unknown gentleman, and Huerta leaves the scene. 

TMZ also claims that while police were in fact called, no arrests have been made as of yet.

Huerta's manager tells TMZ, "I have not spoken to Roger yet about this incident, but I can say that it's in his nature to be very protective of women."

It sure looks like it.
