Shaquille O'Neal has feuded with a lot of people. Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Brad Miller, Chris Dudley ... the list goes on. And now, for some reason, you can add Jim Rome to the list.
Well, technically there is a reason - Rome had the audacity to say that Shaq has no legacy. Shaq didn't exactly take too well to such criticism, tweeting this the other day.
Jim rome, I am happy with my career and the legacy that I have left behind, obviously u r not happy wit yur legacy I 4got u have no legacyless than a minute ago via TweetGenius

Shaq then went on to challenge Rome to a boxing match, which of course is a fair way to settle this score. He's probably kidding, to be fair.
Or is he? Shaq went on the Mike Wise show on 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C. today and refused to back off from his threats against Jim Rome (though it should be noted that Shaq's first words to Wise and co-host Holden Kushner were "Shiver me timbers, this is the big leprechaun speaking," as if he was some sort of good luck pirate. So maybe he's kidding).
First, Shaq reiterated what he tweeted.
"One, I would never be upset at a person that doesn't have a legacy. Second of all, people that havent' done what I have done can't say whether or not I have a legacy or not. A guy that's scored 28k points and a guy that has done as much as I have done, if I haven't stood up to my legacy, I guess I'm a failure, and that's something I have to live with. But Jim Rome knows better than that. He's just throwing my name around so he can get ratings for his terrible show."
And the boxing thing?
He walks around like a tough guy, so he want to box, let's box. So I challenged him, and him being the feather carrier he is, he was like 'Oh, I don't want to do it.' Just like I thought. I'm not with all the back and forth. If he doesn't want to get Greg Ostertag'd, he needs to watch it."

Rome is such a punk! Shaq shouldn't waste his time on him.
