Team USA's last game in the 2010 FIBA World Championships was a scare, as they barely held on against a good Brazil team. Today, they take on a much less heralded opponent in Iran, and if they win, they will clinch a berth in the knockout stage.
Iran is 1-2 in the tournament, having defeated Tunisia for their only win. They are led by Memphis Grizzlies big man Hamed Haddadi, who is having a strong tournament.
Team USA will once again start Derrick Rose, Chauncey Billups, Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Lamar Odom.
