Jake Delhomme picked up where he left off in the 2009 season with a pair of picks in a 17-14 loss to the Buccaneers. Second year quarterback Josh Freeman threw one pick and completed 17-of-28 passes for 182 yards.
Freeman and the Bucs were trailing the Browns with under seven minutes left in the fourth when Freeman hit Michael Spurlock for a 33-yard touchdown pass. That ended up being the game winner as the Bucs held the Browns. Freeman added a touchdown pass to Mike Williams in the first half.
It wasn't the prettiest game of the week but the Bucs will enter week two 1-0.
