49ers Vs. Seahawks: All Seattle, All The Time In 31-6 Victory Over 49ers

It was all Seahawks all the time in their 2010 season opener against the 49ers.

Matt Hasselbeck accounted for three touchdowns -- two in the air and one on the ground. Former USC receiver Mike Williams led the Seahawks receivers with four receptions for 64 yards.

Seattle's offense wasn't particularly impressive but it didn't matter because the 49ers couldn't do anything offensively. Alex Smith had an interception returned for a touchdown and tossed another pick. He had 225 yards on the game. Vernon Davis was the star for the 49ers catching eight balls for 73 yards in the loss.

Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck capped a seven-play, 64-yard drive with a 1-yard scoring run, giving Seattle a 7-6 lead over San Fran.

The drive’s biggest play was a short pass to Mike Williams for 35 yards that gave Seattle the ball at the goal line.

Williams has been out of the NFL since July 2008. He was a 2005 first-round pick by the Lions after starring at USC. He caught only 44 passes in his 30 games while being traded by the Lions and cut by the Raiders and Jaguars.
