Mark Dantonio Suffers Heart Attack After Michigan State's Fake Field Goal

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio won last night's game against Notre Dame with a bold fake field goal in overtime, but it nearly came at an unthinkable cost. First tweeted by Michael Rosenberg of the Detroit Free Press, Dantonio had a heart attack shortly after the Spartans' win.

Dantonio had a stent put in a blocked artery. Rosenberg also adds that it "looks like Dantonio will be OK and return to coaching before long." In Dantonio's absence, offensive coordinator will take his place.

Obviously, best wishes and thoughts go out to Dantonio and his family.

"You guys scared me to death...I almost had a....holy crap my arm is numb"

Pretty soon, with big name coaches like Meyer and Dantonio having health issues, they will have to have Defibs on the sideline, if they didnt already…and nitroglycerin, and a few car batterys, a gurney and a makeshift operating table.

I'm pretty much not afraid of anything. Except clowns. I'm not sure where the fear comes from. My mother said that it's because when I was a kid I found a dead clown in the woods. But who knows?

they aint burning the candle at both ends….they are burning it at both ends, and the middle, while being lowered into a fire….
