According to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora, the Seattle Seahawks are shopping receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh for a possible trade, presumably to clear cap space so the team can pursue another trade for Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson.
Such a deal is easier said than done, as Houshmandzadeh turns 33 years old later this month and will make $7 million plus guaranteed in 2010. The former Bengals receiver signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the Seahawks in 2009.
Houshmandzadeh didn't put up prime receiver stats in 2009 season, catching 79 passes for 911 yards and only three touchdowns.
