That’s how South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier was told the reports of former Gamecock and Denver Broncos receiver Kenny McKinley’s death were true.

For those that don't follow South Carolina, McKinley left quite a legacy at the school. He holds the school records for single-season receptions (77), career receptions (207), career receiving yards (2,781) and consecutive games with a reception (43).
