The NFL trade rumors are starting to pick up with Chargers unsigned restricted free agent Vincent Jackson.
Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Vikings have made an offer of a second round pick and a conditional pick in 2011.
Per Cole, the Chargers have declined. As reports have previously indicated, the Chargers are looking for a second and third round pick in 2011. At one point, the price tag was believed to be two second round picks.
At this point most feel it's unlikely a trade gets done because of the Chargers asking price.
With Jackson, it's not just about the trade compensation. He's currently unsigned so any team trading for him would want to work out a long-term deal. He's currently facing a suspension so any contract would have to factor that in.
