It was good while it lasted for Ryan Harrison. Sergiy Stakhovsky outlasted the 18-year-old American, 6-3, 5-7, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (6), in the second round of the 2010 U.S. Open Friday. An overwhelmingly pro-Harrison crowd on the grandstand court was rocking throughout the marathon match, which lasted well past four hours.
A "Let's go Ryan!"chant even broke out on the grounds outside Arthur Ashe Stadium.
The teenager's gotta be hurting right now. Up 6-3 in the fifth-set tiebreaker, he squandered three match points.
