Jason Day's had an excellent weekend at the Deutsche Bank Championship. His opening round 63 is the tournament low, and his 196 through three rounds ties the 54-hole record at TPC Boston.
But he's not nearly clear of the field just yet.
Day's 17-under through three rounds, but Brandt Snedeker is hot on his heels at 16-under, and Luke Donald is at 15-under. Steve Stricker, currently fourth in the World Golf Ranking, is four shots back at 13-under, and Phil Mickelson is at 12-under.
Both Stricker and Mickelson have a chance to take the top spot in those rankings should Tiger Woods (7-under) continue to struggle.
