As Malone elaborates in a bygone issue of Hoop Magazine:
I look at a golf course and all I see is how it would have been much better off as wilderness, where people could hunt, and fish, and enjoy the outdoors like I do.
You see, by building golf courses all over the country, Karl Malone says we're shortchanging the natural beauty of the outdoors. We're exploiting nature for our own self-indulgent pursuits. If we could all hunt and fish instead, then clearly, the world would be better off.
Why am I talking about a years-old treatise on golf from a retired NBA player? For one, because the accompanying picture is absolutely spectacular. And also... "Karl Malone Says".
Karl on aliens:
Karl on taxes:
Karl on recycling:
Karl on the stock market:
When Karl Malone speaks, we listen. You should, too. Because who the hell is Dow Jones?
