Matt Kuchar, who leads the FedExCup standings, has taken the clubhouse lead during the first round of the 2010 BMW Championship. Kuchar's 7-under day included an eagle on the 15th hole.
Close behind is Ryan Moore, also in the clubhouse, who recovered from a 1-over front nine to birdie seven of his final nine holes. Meanwhile, noted golfing enthusiast Tiger Woods stumbled out of the gate with a double bogey on the first hole. He's currently 3-over through his first seven holes.
Play is still in progress at Cog Hill, but here are the top scores of those who have finished Round 1:
1. Matt Kuchar (-7)
2. Ryan Moore (-6)
3. Retief Goosen (-4)
4. 6 tied (-3)
10. 3 tied (-2)
