Jimmy Rollins Day-To-Day With Hamstring Tightness

The last thing the Phillies needed was for Jimmy Rollins to suffer another injury to his leg, but after Rollins had to leave Wednesday's game with hamstring tightness, the team doesn't seem particularly concerned the day after.

Jimmy Rollins was feeling better Thursday, Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said, after the shortstop left Wednesday's game with tightness in his right hamstring.

The GM said Rollins remains day-to-day.

"Our trainer and the doctor, they felt like he was going to be OK," Manuel said. "That's kind of the impression they gave me."
The Phillies made a few small roster moves on Thursday in changing their pitching staff, but no extra infielder was brought to the team to take Rollins' place. The shortstop may be able to play on Friday in New York, and should return some time this weekend.
