The University of Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners are absolutely bulldozing the Alabama State Hornets in their 2011 March Madness playoff game, leading by a score of 48-21 at halftime. Melvin Johnson III is the man doing the damage, dropping a Jimmer-esque 25 points in the first half. He's shooting 8-13 from the field and 8-8 from the free throw line, which would be an impressive performance even if he were playing a team of eighth graders.
UTSA could probably bench Johnson at halftime and still coast to a meeting with the East Region's No. 1 seed, the Ohio State Buckeyes. It seems unlikely that they'll be able to drop such an outrageous score against the Big Ten champions, but maybe Johnson can continue Jimmering it up and pull off some serious magic on Friday.
Now watch Alabama State come back in the second half.
