Wisconsin Vs. Butler Score: Badgers, Bulldogs Struggling Early In Sweet 16 Matchup

We're underway in New Orleans as Wisconsin and Butler try to top the overtime thriller between Florida and BYU. Both team started out cold, exchanging misses in the early moments. Sheldon Mack missed his first two shots for the Bulldogs as he was unable to find the range from three and clanked a driving lay-in.

Keaton Nankivil broke the scoreless tie, draining a long two to put the Badgers up, 2-0. On the other end of the floor, Andrew Smith made his way to the line after getting hacked in the paint, but only could convert on one of two.

Jon Leuer shook off a few early misses, burying a three as both teams began to find the range four minutes in. Shelvin Mack did the same, showing off a mid-range game as he nailed a jump to bring the Bulldogs within two.

At the under-16 timeout, buckets have been few and far-between as the Badgers lead, 5-3
