Arizona Vs. Connecticut Score: UConn's Shabazz Napier Hits Back Vs. Wildcats

Stay connected with SB Nation

After watching Arizona dictate the pace of Saturday's game for the majority of the first ten minutes, UConn's Shabazz Napier has managed to shift the momentum. Connecticut put together a 9-0 run to come within a one-point margin.

With eight minutes left in the second half, Kemba Walker set up Napier for a long three-pointer, which he sank. A moment later, Napier stole the ball and quickly put the ball back up for a lay-up, after which Arizona called a timeout.

The Huskies now lead the Wildcats, 22-20, as the momentum seems to have completely leaned to favor Connecticut at this point. Given the level of athleticism of both teams, don't be surprised to see plenty of back-and-forth shifts in the tide before the final buzzer.
