Arizona Vs. UConn Score: Threes Not Falling For Wildcats, Huskies

Stay connected with SB Nation

On Saturday night, the UConn Huskies have pulled off a 21-8 run against the Arizona Wildcats as time winds down in the first half. While Arizona is winning the rebound battle, the Wildcats have slowed somewhat from the fast pace they set bursting out of the gate.

Both teams are clearly fond of the three-pointer, but neither side is getting them to fall. Arizona has sunk only one of 10, while Connecticut is 2-for-10. Fouls have emerged as one of the key differences between the two teams; while Arizona has only been sent to the line twice, going 2-for-4, Connecticut has sunk nine of 12.

For UConn. Kemba Walker leads with nine points and two assists. Jeremy Lamb and Shabazz Napier each have seven.
