Kentucky Heads To Final Four, Welcomes Jay-Z As Newest Fan

After the Wildcats dispatched the North Carolina Tar Heels 76-69 to secure a Final Four berth on Sunday, they had a very special guest waiting to celebrate with them in the locker room. Jay-Z.

Some of the players were so excited, the appearance almost overshadowed their Final Four-clinching victory just moments earlier:

"That in itself was a pretty nice experience to add on to (the Final Four)," Miller said. "Going to the Final Four (is bigger) by far. But still, Jay-Z. It's crazy. This whole day has been crazy. I'm still taking it all in."

The rap mogul congratulated Kentucky players, posed for photos and then told them to go on and win the National Title. With Kentucky playing UConn next week in the Final Four, don't expect too many album sales in the state of Connecticut this week.

As for what it means that the owner of an NBA team was hanging out in a college basketball team's locker room during the NCAA Tournament and John Calipari was prominently involved...well let's just say it's not terribly surprising.
