It can get a little crazy in an NCAA National Title celebration. Just ask the UConn Huskies after their 53-41 win over the Butler Bulldogs to win the NCAA Title last night. Everyone's excited, confetti is falling, fans are cheering, cameras are flashing. It's easy to lose yourself and forget that the entire nation has their eyes, and ears, affixed on your every move.
So when Kemba Walker wanted a little space to discuss the evening's basketball result with CBS' Jim Nantz and he didn't receive the space that he so required, you can't blame him for reacting in a purely natural way.
Headphones up...
That said, how much better would this have been if he was talking to Nantz when he said that? I don't think Jimmy's interns put together quips for him to react to that.
UConn fans should join the continued celebration over at The UConn Blog.
