2011 NFL Combine: Which Quarterbacks Will Throw?

Stay connected with SB Nation

Quarterbacks will start to arrive at the 2011 NFL Combine on Thursday and prepare for a four-day journey of workouts and passing drills under the watchful eye of the NFL's 32 teams. According to reports, nearly all of the top quarterbacks are expected to throw at the Combine.

Among the top quarterbacks expected to throw include Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Jake Locker, Ryan Mallett, Andy Dalton, Ricky Stanzi and Christian Ponder. The biggest name there of course is Newton. As one of the top two quarterbacks, it's somewhat of a surprise that he'll throw.

Things can change but for now, according to various reports, those are the top quarterbacks that will throw. QB Blaine Gabbert is expected to do other drills, like running, but will not throw. (Note: Greg McElroy won't throw because of an injury)

Quarterbacks arrive on Thursday and they'll get registered and go through some medical exams on the first day.
