2011 NFL Mock Draft: Cleveland Browns Select DE Adrian Clayborn

Stay connected with SB Nation

SB Nation's 2011 NFL mock draft moves on in the second round and Dawgs By Nature is up representing the Cleveland Browns with the 37th overall pick. The Browns have a few options on the board but have decided to continue the re-make of their defensive line by grabbing Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn.

Here's what Dawgs By Nature said:

Clayborn has fallen pretty significantly from his original projected value in mock drafts, so this marks the second steal in a row for the Browns. Through the rest of the draft, Cleveland would have the luxury of taking chances on other prospects since other holes, such as safety and depth on the offensive line, can be addressed through free agency.

What I would consider a luxury is being able to re-make your defensive line in one swoop like this. Clayborn has talent and comes from a school, Iowa, with a good reputation of producing quality NFL players.

It's also worth noting that the Browns are building a defensive line similar to their divisional opponents, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. I like what Dawgs By Nature has done for the Browns in this mock draft.
