The Tennessee Titans have the 39th overall pick in SB Nation's 2011 NFL mock draft and representing them will be Music City Miracles. The Titans have yet to grab a quarterback and MCM writes that it's a little early for QB Colin Kaepernick so they'll select North Carolina OLB Bruce Carter.
The Titans' biggest need outside of quarterback is OLB, and Carter is a really good value at this pick. He would be a first-round pick if it weren't for the ACL injury he suffered last November. He should be 100 percent healthy by the time the Titans take the field to start preparations for the 2011 season.
MCM is right about this mock draft and the Titans They were probably hoping Cincy didn't snag QB Andy Dalton. They're in some trouble if they don't pick one up somehow.
On Carter, it appears the Titans could be getting a steal. Perhaps that injury had no long-term damage and he recovers just fine. Or it's also possible this slows him down and he loses his burst. It's the risk of taking someone coming off of an injury like this.
