The Chicago Bears have traded away two first round draft picks, along with two second-rounders, in the past two NFL drafts. Could they go and do such a thing again? To hear general manager Jerry Angelo tell it, don't rule it out:
I know the question will come up: Will you trade up, will you trade down? We're always going to be flexible. We always have. Trading down is easier to do and if there's enough players on the board when it's our pick [and] it makes sense, then it's something we would consider very seriously.
Chicago is set to pick No. 29 in this year's first round and No. 62 in the second. You'll note those picks are near the ends of their respective rounds, so trades down out of those spots would likely mean exiting a round. In SB Nation's most recent 2011 NFL mock draft, Brian Galliford has the Bears taking OT Derek Sherrod and DT Drake Nevis.
