2011 NFL draft season really started when the Super Bowl was finished and we knew the official draft order. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy reports that the Carolina Panthers are officially on the clock at 8:04 p.m. (ET).

The draft's TV schedule starts hours before with pre-draft coverage on ESPN and NFL Network.

The first round of the draft will start at 8:04 p.m. (ET) and there will be 10 minutes between each pick. The second and third rounds of the draft will start on Friday with the second round having seven minutes between each pick and the third round having five minutes between each pick. The fourth through seventh rounds will begin on Saturday and there will be five minutes between each pick.

The 2011 NFL draft is almost here. With the recent NFL lockout news, I imagine plenty of people are ready for Thursday night to come.
