The Denver Broncos hold the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft and, though we're not sure who they'll pick, the best bet is on one of the top two defensive players -- DT Marcell Dareus or LB Von Miller.
NFL Network reports that the word one night before the draft is that the Broncos camp is leaning to Miller, although it's hard to take anything you hear during draft week seriously. Teams routinely spread information with other motives in mind. Maybe they really do like Miller. Or maybe they're hoping others who covet Miller will move up for him.
The Broncos have reportedly shown interest in trading back so they would presumably entertain offers.
Meanwhile ESPN's Ed Werder says the Broncos are considering four players with the second overall pick. In addition to Dareus and Miller, they're looking at DT Nick Fairley and CB Patrick Peterson.
SB Nation's Mile High Report should have some fun tracking all the rumors that are coming out, and will continue come out, regarding the Broncos draft day plans. Check out MHR's latest dip into the NFL draft rumors flying around.
