With the 47th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams picked Lance Kendricks, a tight end from Wisconsin. Kendricks has good speed and average size for a tight end, but his ball skills make him a good option for the nascent Rams offense and its triggerman, Sam Bradford.
Kendricks joins first round pick Robert Quinn in St. Louis. The Rams still have some work to do to get a baseline of talent at every position, but Quinn and Kendricks could both be productive early.
