With the 55th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Rodney Hudson, a center from Florida State. In the first round, Kansas City took Jonathan Baldwin to add depth to the wide receiver, and stuck with offense in the second round in picking Hudson. He's a versatile pick and could play either at the center spot or at either guard spot for the Chiefs.
With Jamaal Charles in the backfield and Matt Cassel under center, the Chiefs are clearly looking to add parts to boost the offense, ignoring defense thus far. To find out more on their plan, head on over to Arrowhead Pride and SB Nation Kansas City.
The second round of the 2011 NFL draft is underway. Day two of the draft will feature the second round with seven minutes between each pick and the third round with five minutes between each pick.
