2011 NFL Draft Results: New York Giants Select WR Jerrel Jernigan

With the 83rd pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the New York Giants select WR Jerrel Jernigan. He's coming out of Troy and the word to describe him is fast. He runs the 40-yard dash in the 4.3 range and, while he's not completely polished, he can add something to the Giants in year one.

The Giants have one of the best receivers in the game right now in WR Hakeem Nicks so this will be a good opportunity for Jernigan to learn under a solid receiver.

The third round of the 2011 NFL draft is underway. Day two of the draft will feature the second round with seven minutes between each pick and the third round with five minutes between each pick.
