NFL Draft 2011, Round 4: Best Available Players Remaining

Stay connected with SB Nation

The 2011 NFL draft continues into the fourth round and there are plenty of good available players that remain. The fourth round is prime area to upgrade the interior offensive line and find some potential starters as well as developmental players.

SB Nation's Mocking The Draft has a list of the best remaining players. Here's a snap shot of the top 10 remaining: G Clint Boling, DE Sam Acho, LB Quan Sturdivant, WR Edmund Gates, OT Marcus Cannon, DE Christian Ballard, G DeMarcus Love, TE Virgil Green, RB Johnny White and OT Chris Hairston.

The name that stands out to me is Ballard. He was talked about as a guy that could sneak into the first round. He comes from a well-coached program and could help a team out quickly. Acho also stands out to me as well considering he was a productive player against some of the best competition in the country.

One other name to keep an eye on is Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi. There's been a little buzz about him and he's still on the board. If the Patriots hadn't picked QB Ryan Mallett in round three, I would predict they'd be the team to get Stanzi. I think he's got a shot to be a quality player to keep an eye on where he lands.

There are lots of good players remaining and someone will undoubtedly find a steal in the fourth round.
